Noise through the night from Road resurfacing

Hi there,

I’m really quite upset about the level of noise from the overnight roadworks that were not announced to us. My younger daughter has high sensitivity to loud noises and had we known we could have prepared her. We haven’t been able to sleep on a weeknight when we have work and school to go to. Why wasn’t the work assigned to be carried out at the weekend overnight instead? This is the second night and it’s even noisier. I appreciate that the road needs resurfacing but considering it’s half term next week why couldn’t the works have been organised for that week instead so as not to disrupt the young families and children who live on Stained Road?
