Collection of sharp and deep potholes have returned
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 08:20, Thu 25 May 2023
Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4593718.
This previously repaired section of the road is damaged again as the tarmac repairs are broken and have eroded or been washed away.
The road is as before with sharp, angular potholes that can't be seen until you are on top of them. These are tyre-shredding potholes. Vehicles swerve to the wrong side of the road to try and miss them.
It's the section of beige/yellow tarmac in between the pinch point with two 40mph signs (seen in screenshots - these images are out-of-date pictures from Google Maps that show where the road has been patched before. This patched tarmac is no longer there).
