• Sad to see another tree lost. Assume stump and root will be ground out and a new tree planted. Also an opportunity to sort paving currently laid over root system.

• YEs, the whole tree will be removed. The tree surgeons will use a “HIAB”, a truck-mounted crane, aka HIAB crane, to complete the removal of the remaining stem in due course.

• We do not have time frames for when tree works are to be undertaken. The contractor will remove all and we will replant in due course. Thank you for your patience.

• The tree has been made safe by removing the crown of the tree, the contractor is in hand to visit site with a hiab to remove the stick. Thank you for your patience.

• Thank you for your comments. The storm clearance process is causing delays to the works raised for this enquiry. The contractor will remove the stick as soon as they have the Hiab.

• Please accept our apologies for the delay in the completion of the works. The contractor has been chased up and will prioritise the completion of the remaining stick and to grind out the stump. The tree will be replaced next planting season starting in November running through to March 2025.

• Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The removal of trees is carried out by three separate teams; felling, grab truck and stump grinding. The stump grinding crew is hand to visit site soon to grind out the stump. A replacement tree has been added to the planting schedule 2024/25 an in hand to be planted next planting season starting in November running to March 2025.
