Faded Pedestrian Crossing markings on the road.

Reported via desktop anonymously at 23:04, Mon 22 May 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4584991.

The Pedestrian Crossing located at beginning of the High Street, Westbury-on-Trym, outside NatWest Bank .The pedestrian Crossing Markings (on surface of the road) are badly faded and at the least require 'freshening up'. There have been lots of 'near misses' of pedestrians narrowly avoiding being knocked down on this crossing. This happens most times during the day but particularly from mid/late afternoon when the sun is shining and motorists coming down Westbury Hill (into the sunlight) and around the Cenotaph into High Street (which is in the shadows) don't seem to notice the Pedestrian Crossing.
