Very overgrown grass verges close to junction of Grand Avenue and Mill Road Worthing

Reported via mobile anonymously at 12:20, Sat 20 May 2023

Sent to West Sussex County Council and Worthing Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4576656.

Many of the verges on Grand Avenue are completely overgrown with weeds and grass reaching heights of around 80cm. Why are the verges not being cut? Many householders cut the verges out of desperation to avoid the area outside their property looking neglected but this is not of course their responsibility but where this does not happen the verges are completely overgrown. Particularly bad are the verges close to the traffic lights on Grand Avenue. Why aren’t they being cut?!!
