  • Investigation: Ongoing (Reported to a third party) - As this is private vegetation, we have sent a Standard Enforcement Letter to the occupier(s), asking them to cut this back. This could take up to a month to resolve. We will update you further.

  • Hedge is getting worse

  • The property on Obelisk Rise have cut theirs but the majority of the hedge belonging to no. 1 st John's Avenue has not been touched and now forcing pedestrians, disabled scooter users, pushchairs users either onto the slopped verge or to walk on the main road

  • Hedge is now taking over the whole of the pathway and at the corner (where Obelisk Rise meets St John’s Avenue) the visability is zero. Only a matter of time before there is an accident and someone ends up hurt.

  • Investigation: Ongoing (Reported to another department within WNC) - Unfortunately, as the owner of the property has not complied with the enforcement letter sent to them, we have forwarded this to the regulations team, who will update you more on the situation and take things further.

  • Investigation: Completed (Reported to another department within WNC), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that in accordance with the WNC Highways Inspection Manual, the vegetation meets the criteria for a Priority 4 response. We will schedule vegetation clearance to be completed within 26 weeks.
