Cover loose and banging on junction on Station Road and Burnham Way

Reported via mobile in the Loose / Raised/Sunken category anonymously at 08:40, Fri 19 May 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4572430.

The cover on the Daventry bound side of station road and Burnham way is loose and banging each time a vehicle passes over it and causing a nuisance to local residents due to the noise.

This has already been repaired twice in the last few years by the developer as had the same problem with this cover. Can this be passed back to the developer for ratification again?

  • The tarmac was repaired around the drain. However this is not the problem - it is the cover at fault as it is not fitting correctly. Again every vehicle travelling over it creates a loud bang.
