Loose gravel on slope

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 22:08, Wed 17 May 2023

Sent to Richmond upon Thames Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4567713.

In Richmond Park, so don't know who is responsible for this, but on the Tamsin Trail between Roehampton Gate Sheen Gate there is a large section of the trail that is on a slope & has a lot of loose gravel on it. Everyone who uses this path wants to use the small, narrow sections of the path where there is no loose gravel so there can be considerable conflict between users (pedestrians, dogs, runners, people on bikes or with buggies etc) who all get funnelled along narrow sections of the Tamsin Trail.

Please can you re-surface & improve the quality fo the whole width of the path? Many thanks.

  • Really sorry that this has still not been fixed, despite a lovely email from someone in RP saying they’d address the problem. The gravel and loose surface is getting worse every week.

Indeed, the surface is so poor in places that even pedestrians go single file along the only ‘solid’ ground.

Not sure what needs to happen for this to be taken seriously, does someone have to have an accident & be hospitalised?
