Overgrown vegetation

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 21:39, Wed 17 May 2023

Sent to Richmond upon Thames Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4567653.

Overhanging trees and, in one part, very narrow pathway, makes this footpath difficult to use sometimes, especially if there are people with dogs, or on bikes or with pushchairs.

Please can you cut back the vegetation to open up the footpath? One narrow section (where the mud path meets the damaged tarmac path) needs particular attention!

Thank you.

Updates

  • This is much worse now. Lots of vegetation needs cutting back needed between Bog Gate & the Cemetery along the mud path that goes towards Lower Grove Rd. .

  • Not fixed.

  • The pin dropped itself in the wrong place on this map so the problem will not have been fixed. This mapping system does not seem to recognise footpaths - it only recognises roads (where vehicles can go).
