Yet more abandoned street furniture...

Reported via desktop in the Flytipping category anonymously at 17:47, Wednesday 17 May 2023

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4566871.

Following roadworks at the Westland Drive lights 2 weeks ago, there is a pile of stacked cones left right at the tiny pedestrian crossing island in the middle of the A814 and another batch just outside the Vic Pk gate entrance with another triangular sign left slightly further up on Westland Drive.

As this practice is endemic when it comes council 3rd party contractors, why haven't senior managers done anything yet? Why isn't there an enacted penalty clause in every such contract? Why aren't they fined for such carelessness / delay. Why isn't there any council oversight at all & it's always left to the public to a) report b) pick up the council tax tab?

Any chance the multitudes of NRS managers could start managing things on the ground rather than producing another 80 page glossy report for their next failed initiative?
