Clear signage is required for 2 way street that leads into a one way stree

Westbury road is a 2 way street that leads into one way streets at either end. The south side of the street is very narrow and it is always presumed by drivers turning into this end from the roundabout that it is a one way street, with a tendency to cut the corner off the roundabout. It is very dangerous for those that live on this end of the road and are coming put of the flats on the corner.

  • The road markings, give way lines, clearly indicate that the road is 2 way from the roundabout in both directions, so no further signage will be added at this time. We will continue to monitor this location moving forward.
