Grass is ridiculously long

Reported via mobile in the Grass needs cutting category anonymously at 15:21, Sunday 14 May 2023

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4552608.

The grass has been cut once this year and it’s so long you cannot see what your walking on. There are numerous holes which is dangerous and a tripping hazard. My son broke his ankle there last year and its likely to happy again to someone.

  • The grass has still not been cut on Coney Hall rec. I own a dog and now cannot see where his waste is after he’s finished. The grass is now over 300mm long and needs cutting urgently. How can I abide by your rules about picking up dog waste when the grass is so long I cannot find it.

  • Still not been cut! It’s disgusting that such a lovely green space cannot be used for recreational purposes from families and locals to enjoy because the council won’t spend money to fix a machine or get the man power to cut it.
