Concrete ramps built on street

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 16:57, Saturday 13 May 2023

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4550310.

Concrete ramps have been built onto the road to allow access to driveway rather than getting kerb lowered. As well as being againt council policy, this presents a safety issue for cyclists and wide vehicles due to it being a narrow road. It also blocks water from reaching the drains. Concrete ramps should be removed.

Updates

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 17:17, Saturday 10 June 2023

  • Still not fixed - the ramps are now causing issues with flooding on the street due to lack of drainage. Concrete ramps are very poorly built, now crumbling and could cause damage to cars and bikes. Not to mention it’s a safety hazard for residents, especially children and the elderly.
