The grass is very long in Pickhurst Park and particularly in the playground.

    It’s the middle of June and the grass is now over 3-4 ft tall in places, this actually renders most of the Rec unusable if you want to kick a ball around, enjoy the park, even walking the dog as the risk of them picking up ticks is increased. What is going on? Why are all our green spaces looking overgrown and uncared for? Why are we paying our taxes for a non-existent service?? Anyone??

    Hello. Clearly the grass cutting on Pickhurst Rec was done in a rush. Or the tractor/mower driver had a bag on his head. Or even both. Notwithstanding the numerous patches of long grass left around the Rec, the grass around the bins on the footpath from Pickhurst Lane still needs cutting. And the grass in the play area wasn’t touched. It’s a crazy idea, but what if the job was done properly in the first place? Just imagine?

    Please return and do job properly.
