Covering of deep mud on road

Reported via mobile anonymously at 16:52, Fri 12 May 2023

Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council and Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4547557.

As already reported there is a long term flooding problem on Watton Road, between Datchworth crossroads and Hawkins Hall Lane, which has led to mud being deposited on the road each side of the flood. The recent flash flooding we had on 9/5/23, has carried heaps of mud from the fields and deposited it in these areas. The mud is several inches thick and needs scraping off. In one area there is a large hump which is not going to disperse by itself.
