Incorrectly seated manhole cover

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4543698.

This manhole has been an ongoing problem for 3 months. The potholes and broken tarmac were fixed on the morning of May 11th. However, the actual metal manhole cover has been replaced in an unsatisfactory manner. The cover still bangs when a vehicle drives over it.

  • This is now the third time Hampshire Highways have failed to fix the loose manhole cover. The noise grows louder on a day to day basis.
