Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4541463.

I received complaints from the parish council over the overhanging vegetation that needs to be cut back by the owners urgently. It extracts visibility and full access of the path

  • Further information, it is an overhanging shrub onto a footpath in LH. The root is on private land however it hangs over by 3 plus foot. It’s up the Furnace Lane end of the village where there is no footpath opposite so it’s not even possible to cross the road to avoid it. It is very difficult getting a wheelchair or pushchair through without going onto the road or ducking under the shrub. And if a car is parked there it’s almost impossible.

  • Investigation: Ongoing - We have determined that this is vegetation from a growing from a private property. We will contact the landowner to cut back. These issues can take up to four months to resolve.
