Road STILL flooding
Reported via desktop in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 09:50, Thu 11 May 2023
Sent to Reading Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4540835.
I have reported this before but in usual RBC fashion nothing ever gets done. The road at the mini-roundabout at the junction of Tilehurst Road & Water Road floods badly after any rainfall, mainly on the Park side. Which also covers the large pothole there (also been reported & nothing done). The water also takes a long time to drain away once rain has stopped. Time RBC sorted the road issues out in this town. They get enough council tax which they keep increasing.

Of course it's not done, this is RBC we are talking about. All they think about is flats.

Expect miracles? This is useless RBC we are talking about. Still flooded now after the rain the other day.

Still badly floods and passerby's get wet when vehicles drive through it.

This road area still floods when it rains making the pavement unusable for pedestrians unless they want a soaking from passing cars. It is also affecting road surface.

Like myself & others have said it is STILL the same despite being first reported at least 6 MONTHS ago. Especially now with the current rain. Hopeless RBC at their very best. Totally incompetent money thieving useless shower. Also the road surface on the mini roundabout is awful as well. Again this has been reported & again ignored by the useless Bridge St shower.
