Potholes and loose gravel

Reported in the Road or pavement defect category anonymously at 14:35, Thu 13 March 2014

Sent to Redbridge 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 453800.

Near the top of Ripley Road with the junction of Green Lane is the place where there are a couple of nasty looking potholes and they pose a huge problems to cars. Also the gully on green lane outside the cafe constantly gets blocked when it rains and the situation is very grave as drivers go through it and splashes padestrians with water.

  • Two patches have been done, which is a start but the top of the road is still in the same state and no markings for planned works can not be seen. Im assuming that the road will need to be resurfaced but temporary fill would be useful. The gully is still flooding, i understand when the contractor goes to check the fault, they will probably go at a time when it hasnt rained and no fault can be seen, so they (the contractor) need to make a visit when there is heavy rain.
