Post has been knocked & removed

Reported via desktop in the Safety Fence category anonymously at 06:24, Wed 10 May 2023

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4534736.

A timber post that protected pedestrians as they walked along the footpath opposite the village hall has been knocked over and removed.

The post had got rotten over time, and sadly met its match with a delivery van. The whole has been filled with shingle temporarily.

New post required to help protect pedestrians from motorists.

  • This poses a hazard for children and elderly people, not having the security of a post to prevent vehicles from knocking them over.
