  • I reported this (again) on the LBB emergency number last night as these potholes are dangerous and the council seem to be just ignoring the issue.

  • Our contractor has been notified to take the appropriate action.

  • This is one of the most frequently reported pothole hotspots.

  • These potholes are extensive, covering the whole width of the carriageway. They have been there for months and are still not repaired.

  • These appear to the Potholes that Time Forgot.

Posted anonymously at 15:20, Monday 22 May 2023

  • When will they ALL be fixed please?

Not much point in just repairing one.

    Thanks

  • Hi, on my way home yesterday evening a cyclist was riding in front of me, I happened to know how poor the section of road ahead was and that the cyclist would surely have to veer off into the middle of the road. Sure enough this happened and the cyclist now only has a tiny safe space through which to ride.

I have posted my dashcam footage here for you to see on Youtube.

This road surface is outright dangerous. This road surface must be worked on as an emergency.

I don’t understand how your safety officers are visiting this junction and considering it safe?!

I remember this area definitely started deteriorating with potholes from late January 2023, your first of now 39 ‘closed’ reports are from Feb 7th. How can you have left this main road so long? How can you have allowed it deteriorate so, so badly?

  • Sevenoaks Road has now been fixed but there are potholes that have been left next to one's that have been repaired

    Still open, via questionnaire

  • I checked for myself and remedial work is still required. Have escalated to Senior Council Officers.

  • Further works are necessary to resolve the issue and have been scheduled for action.
