Potholes and cars parked preventing entry & access to properties
Reported via mobile in the Obstruction to Highway category anonymously at 20:15, Wednesday 3 May 2023
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4514442.
Due to an increase of cars who are unable to find parking on milwood road, there has been an increase of vehicles parked on The Landway. Residents of The Landway have ample off street parking facility however on numerous occasions I am unable to gain entry onto my own drive way due to turning points and also leave my own driveway being blocked in. Also due to the increase of vehicles parked on the Landway it has made it that vehicles passing by can only travel both ways on one side of the road causing an increase on potholes outside all of the properties on the Landway. I would like to request for double yellow lines to be put on the Landway so I am able to leave my own property rather than being blocked in my own drive way or even access into my own drive way.

These parked cars are also making it more and more difficult to turn in and out of Millwood Road as you now need to pull out blindly into the road to see around the cars. Double yellows from main road up to and just beyond Millwood would help greatly!

There are many locations in the Borough similar to the described situation in The Landway. Parking at all locations is at a premium and it is against Council policy to use linage to protect private driveways. An engineer has reviewed the location and decided that no action is required at this time.
The pot hole issue has been passed to the highways department for review.
