Hi the park shares a fence with my front garden. I moved in in the summer and have only just had a chance to start working at my front garden I cut the grass this weekend and found my fence has been pushed up because of overgrown grass and trees (your side not mine) down the front garden damaging the entire green fence which now needs replacing as it’s not safe. If maintenance at the edging of the park to one Baston Road had been maintained this would not have happened Not sure how long this has been going on for but you will see - apart from where I’ve been pulling our weeds and dead grass as much as I can it’s been going on some time

This problem still has not been fixed. As I share my garden with a park I genuinely feel completely unsafe. You can walk into my front garden from how badly the fence is damaged - non existent in places. How can my council leave me feeling so unsafe in my own home. I also think it’s unreasonable that I have spent weeks tidying my garden to the best of my ability, around this problem and knowing that dogs from the park can run in and out of my garden feels so unfair. I don’t know what will have to happen before it’s acknowledged how badly my home is being impacted

Months later and the problem has still not been fixed. Whilst Bromley Council can’t be bothered to do anything and I still pay my council tax I now have the delight of glass bottles being thrown from the park into my garden, and don’t forget the random strangers I pick up regularly on my door bell who now assume that my front garden is an extension of the park It feels like Bromley Council are just hoping if they leave it long enough they’ll claim my front garden as the park - it might as well be seeing the lack of privacy, lack of safety and amount of strangers, litter and animals I now get in my garden. I hate to think what is going to happen to me and my home before they actually do more than ‘look into it’
