Boarding left on pavement for weeks. Trip hazard.

Reported via mobile in the Public Right of Way footpath category anonymously at 15:50, Saturday 29 April 2023

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4499846.

Outside no 84 Southlands Avenue boarding has been left on the pavement for weeks. The pavement seems to be damaged underneath near the water meter. Householder appears to be using the boarding to allow a car to cross onto the garden, which is higher than the pavement.

  • The boarding is still there. It is quite near where people wait for the bus, so this restricts room even further. Lost count of the times I or my granddaughter have nearly fallen over it.

  • 8th June 2023. Pavement appears to have been mended, but more boards appearing. They have been there for months now.
