Broken Paving Stones

Reported via iOS in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 13:20, Wednesday 26 April 2023

Sent to Cardiff Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4488446.

Prior to building eorks taking place at 78 Mill Road, the pavement area and public footways were in excellent condition.

By now, due probably to the works carried out by builders at 78 Mill Road, the paving stones are broken, damaged and extremely uneven. The pavement is unsafe to walk on and a clear disrespect to the local area has been shown by workers and contractors from outside the area.

Those responsible should be held to account for this damage caused, as the taxpayers of Lisvane and Cardiff would be unnecessarily punished for damage caused by such disrespect to the public footpaths of the area. I sincerely hope the Council addresses this urgently and obtains a resolution to fix the damaged pavement without further delay.
