Tree blocking the sun in my garden

There’s a tree in the park close to my back fence the thee it’s covered with ivy some of the branches are leaning to my garden and covering the sun most of the day it’s blocking the sun to come in my seating room as my house it’s getting colder

This tree has been inspected and is not considered to require remedial works at this time. The situation will be reviewed cyclically and any required action will be addressed within a future works programme.

Resident is concerned as the tree is used by the kids to get over the fence and have broken in to the residents house, it has broken the shed roof in the garden which resident has had to replace, they have said when its windy the branches are falling off the tree in to the garden and the resident would like someone to take another look at it.

We need an accurate location so we can get the ivy severed. we do not prune trees because of light issues. You can by common law cut back any overhang that hangs over your garden. Thank you
