Walkways through Jubilee Park need urgent mowing (nettle and long grass)
Reported via mobile in the Street Weeds category anonymously at 10:03, Monday 24 April 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4478692.
Walkways through Jubilee Park need urgent mowing to remove overgrowing nettle and long grass. Please like previously mow through a path from. 357/9 Southborough Lane to the woods and parking on Thornet road. Please cut back the brambles and blackthorn bushes (a wider path please!) near the entrance to the first field as these prickly branches grow rather fast and hang over the path catching on to clothes and scratching people walking past Thank you.

Bromley Council, one month later - still absolutely NO ACTION on the pedesrian entrance near 379 Southborough Lane to the park! What are we paying council tax for if basic provision is not fulfilled? Pathways look like jungle now and some not passable due to very long grass, weeds and nettle.

I am afraid NO action has been taken at all in this part of the path. Contractors mowed a thun path in the central field, but not in the second one. Entrance from 379 Southborough Lane looks like a jungle of weeds that are turning into the bushes! The path becomes almost not passable due to prickly nettle, thistle weeds and brambles. Urgent action is required.

Another week later and still no action from the contractor! I believe they are either not doing what they should or they are simply managed very poorly by the Bromley Council! Either of the two should be looked at as a matter of urgency by the Bromley Council. The grass and prickly weeds and the brambles and thorny bushes grow bigger and bigger! Some parts of the path are barely passable. Come on Bromley Council! What are we paying council tax for if a simple issue like this one has not been addressed for 8 WEEKS!!!????!!!
