Parked on double yellow line

Sent to Hull City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4476522.

This car regularly parks here. Usually over the dropped kerb restricting access for pedestrians and disabled people to cross the road safely.

  • Still there on double yellows as though the Highway Code doesn’t apply to them, and still partially blocking the drop kerb causing an inconvenience to disabled people and a hazard for parents trying to cross the road with small children in prams.

  • Seen this car parked on another double yellow line yesterday down Buckingham Street off Holderness Road, the driver needs to look up the meaning of double yellows in the Highway Code, anyone else would get penalised.

  • Hull City Council must be the slowest in the country 🐌 don’t see anything actually get resolved by them on here, people are allowed to get away with whatever they like
