Street lamps in Links way southwood are still not working. This was reported at the begining of the year. I was given the run around then and had to report to various departments. I will not be doing it again. FIX IT BEFORE SOMEONE GETS HURT.

I received this email: Thank you for contacting Hampshire County Council concerning the repairs to damaged underground electricity cables in Links Way and the surrounding area of Southwood.
As far as I can tell the bulk of these repairs have now been completed. I can see there is still several outstanding faults, in Gleneagle Drive and Ively Road North, which have been reported to Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks again on 13th April. These are programmed for repair by 5th June. My Reply: Good evening Julian, Thank you for your email. I have just driven down Links way and I can assure you that the street lamps are still out. It is 21.30 and pitch black along that road. This was reported long ago and nothing has been done. I trust you will investigate.
Kind regards Kevin.

Morning Kevin
I don’t think I was looking far enough along the road to spot where the faults were.
My contractor chased this up with SSEN on 21st April but has had no reply to date. I’ve escalated this with my contract Operations Manager as this fault should have been repaired by mid-February.
I can only apologise for the continuing inconvenience this is causing.
