I almost came off cycling across this. Has been bad for ages but has become much worse and is lethal. Bad accident waiting to w.

Has not been addressed, even though the road surface is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE, meaning it is DANGEROUS. Richmond Council have a legal duty to maintain all streets in a dit for purpose, safe and suitable condition. This was reported on 16th April, today is the 20th May. Absolutely disgraceful Richmond Council, who will be challenged legally regarding this

Have contacted the council directly as this has deteriorated further but they have ignored all the reports regarding this. Furthermore, the road surface between this defect and Richmond Bridge has been rapidly deteriorating and is now very dangerous to cycle on. Richmond council have been informed, and should an accident occur they cannot avoid blame

Despite my contacting the council directly nothing has been done. The council hasn't even bothered to reply to my notification, notwithstanding their commitment to do so within a specified period. I get the impression that they are either totally incompetent or absolutely useless in managing their constituents safety on the roads they have responsibility for. Absolutely unacceptable
