Litter dropped on grass bank Brixham

Reported via desktop by Rosemary Clarke at 15:08, Sat 15 April 2023

Sent to Torbay Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4443301.

It is complicated location. If you walk into Cumberland Garden there are some steps up onto a footpath From Cumber Drive or Cucumber Close. New to the steps in a grass bank with some trees. There is an increasing amount of litter there - cans, plastic bottles, etc.

  • Still there and the fir tree needs attending to. Generally the whole of that walkway to the park needs a good clean up and the tenants of the last little house who drive their van over the grass to their front garden leaving a huge muddy patch which spreads to the pavement when it rains should be warned to clear it up, and litter bins provided in NORTHFIELD ROAD which could also do with kerbs and pavements weeded.

  • Agree with you as some parts of Furzeham look worse than downtown Kabul. Seems Brixham Town Hall is more important to have money spent on doing up than where us mere peasants live. Has anyone told the council Victorian days have long gone just like other Victorian seaside resorts, it is time to get modern and drag ourselves out of the past and get involved with the future.
