Drive by pothole repair !
Reported in the Potholes category by Chris Reynolds at 14:53, Fri 13 February 2009
Sent to Coventry City Council 1 minute later
From the junction of Honiton rd/Forknell ave to Torcross ave, there are loads of potholes, the other end of the road was re-surfaced years ago, perhaps the council think it's cheaper to let a van drive down the road every 2 weeks & let someone hang out the back of it to fill the potholes in. Would be nice if the van at least stopped to fill the holes in.
The council have used some magic 'red paint', i am awaiting to see the paint re-build the tarmac structure on it's own, as yet the holes are still there & the paint is a lighter shade of red than when it was 1st sprayed.
I'm sure that by the time the chap in the van arrives the paint will be gone, so therefore he will not be able to pinpoint the huge crater without the assistance of the 'magic paint', Will keep you updated if the 'magic paint' carries out the work on it's own.

Council arrived in van one day last week, managed to fill in about 8ft of the hole, must of missed the other 20 foot that needed repairing, ll the red paint has now gone, perhaps i'll give up asking them now & just by one of these.
