Large manhole and road paving sinking outside 25 Trenear Close

Road and manhole are sinking. Block paving around manhole is also sinking.

  • Thank you for your further comments regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. We will continue to work with our contractor to ensure that all outstanding jobs are addressed as quickly as they are able.

  • The block paved road has not been reinstated as it was found. Where the paving brick went up the edge of the manhole your contractor has just bodged it with 3 inches of cement around the whole of the manhole this is now out of keeping with the rest of the road. Please could you ask your contractor to reinstate the road to its existing condition where the paving blocks are fitted up to the manhole frame,. Photo provided

  • No further work has taken place. It exactly as was left weeks ago. Paver block still have not been reinstated around man hole. I hope your contractors have not been paid for this bodged job. Please can the road around manhole be reinstated as it was with pavers to the edge of the manhole like the manholes in the rest of our close. Also question your contractors as they have not revisited or carried out any further works.

  • Contractor still has no re- attended to reinstate Road to how it was found all block paved to the edge of manhole like the rest of the road.

  • This problem still has not been resolved Contractor has not been back to reinstate block paving around manhole.This has been going on since April we are now mid September. This work has breached its timescales. Please advise when this matter will be rectified.
