Subsidence reoccuring on road
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 19:39, Mon 17 February 2014
Sent to Norfolk County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 441668.
The previously 'fixed' dip in the road has in 1 week reoccured to a dangerous level. Tarmac too has cracked. Vehicles and pedestrians are at potential danger especially at dusk/night when the dip is not at all visible.

Depression in the road has not been remedied. The only action taken so far has been the addition of temporary traffic lights controlling vehicle flow and within the last 2 weeks some visible markings sprayed on the road and paths.

Depression has gradually become worse. No work has begun to rectify the problem. The roadway has now pulled itself away from the pathway (still of course cordoned off), however the temporary traffic lights controlling traffic flow have stopped working over a week ago ....... run out of battery power ???? This now means vehicles coming either way have no genuine right of way. The road has regular buses every 30 minutes who now need to make an assumption the opposite traffic will give way. A ridiculous situation not to have been given priority IMO

Road has now been closed to traffic with works in progress to fix the issue. Completion due on 17th May after 3 weeks of road closures (IMO highly unlikely judging by the excavation required)
