Deep Potholes by the entrance to Springvale

Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 16:29, Wed 5 April 2023

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4402779.

There are a cluster of potholes outside the bigger entrance to Springvale business park. They are approximately 12" round and the first layer of tarmac is missing so about 1.5" to 2" deep. From previous experience I have been informed by Bromley Council that they can magically expand in size and depth in a matter of hours. So beware!! If you do damage your vehicle don't expect the council to treat you nicely, I have previous experience of dealing with a council

  • This is an absolute joke, I reported this pothole 50 days ago and it hasn't even been looked at, there is no marking around it. So I call BS on your update that "appropriate action has been taken to resolve the issue." Get your contractors off their backsides and repair this damage, what do we pay our council tax and road tax for.

  • 65 days on and you guessed it sports fans, the pothole still not repaired. Bromley has to be the worst council for not repairing potholes. As a previous experience with Bromley insurance claims they told me, I wouldn't get any compensation because a previous small pothole turned into a 3m chasm overnight. I would like to point that this one hasn't changed size at all in 65 days. So that means the insurance departments reasoning is absolute crap!
