South St in disgusting condition again

South St is once again a total tip - the worst it’s been in years.

* Thick litter and muck in gutters - when was the last time it was cleaned? * Heavy litter and sporadic flytipping on pavements - anywhere there’s a vehicle-related business, cars park up & tip their refuse onto the streets (there are still only 3 litter bins for the entire street, of course…) * AMK’s use of surrounding pavements & streets as a free car park (unchecked) has of course expanded * MOT garage ( unchecked) continue to use & block pavement to carry out work on vehicles (without paying additional business rates of course) * Old friends at Harland Cottages - lidless & overflowing bins & flytipping - whatever steps the council taken over many years now have not worked, so where's the fresh thinking on this?

All of the street is affected to varying degrees but the worst areas include west of Inchlee St to Balmoral St.

So, 6 years on, same old endlessly recurring issues here. What exactly do all the NRS managers do for a living?
