Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 09:44, Saturday 1 April 2023

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4384522.

Following Open Reach trench from Timbertop to Treebourne a short while ago the replacement surface is again already worn away, this time near the Timbertop end. Please ensure that Openreach come and repair their original reinstatement. This is the third time that their repair has been substandard. As this is an unadopted section it needs to be repaired ASAP before it causes further damage to the road.

  • Not too surprising that Openreach have not bothered coming to repair the poor reinstatement. Surely LBB should be checking the quality of their work? Please come and check their work and chase Openreach for the repairs to be carried out urgently. As this is an unadopted section it needs to be repaired ASAP before it causes further damage to the road.

  • Not sure why this has been closed - the remedial work has yet to be carried out by Openreach, with each day the more will need repairing. It would be helpful if LBB could intervene and ensure that the remedial work is carried out ASAP.

  • Thanks for your update - it is known that the issue is the responsibility of Open Reach the problem is that unless LBB intervene Open Reach do not bother with carrying out remedial work, its already been several months since it was reported and with each week our road suffers more.

Please intervene and ensure that Open Reach take responsibility and carry out the remedial work. Residents should not have to be policing third party work on behalf of LBB.
