Large pot holes at speed bump close to where St Micheal's Rd meets St Peter's Road

Reported via desktop in the Pothole category anonymously at 18:00, Fri 31 March 2023

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4383079.

St Michael's Rd is dotted with numerous potholes that require prompt attention. Not all can be avoided by steering to one side. Especially at the speed bump near where St Michael's Rd joins St Peter's Rd. There is small island in the centre of the road at the site of the speed bump. Drivers negotiating the curb on one side of the vehicle and the island on the other, are forced into the pothole where there is every chance of damaging the vehicle. Moreover, as the saying goes: 'Where there is blame, there is a claim'. The the claimee in the event would be Basingstoke Council.
