Serious Long term flooding

Reported via desktop anonymously at 18:01, Thu 30 March 2023

Sent to East Hertfordshire District Council and Hertfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4378647.

Very deep Long term flooding on Watton Road, between Datchworth crossroads and Hawkins Hall Lane. Been travelling along this road most days for the last 2 years - more often than not the flooding is very deep, and the road often extremely mudding for quite a stretch. Really about time the problem was addressed. Water comes off the fields opposite Hawkins Hall Lane and runs down the the low point by the pond. Obviously it also overflows from the pond and from the ditch opposite. Could the road be raised up above the water level?
