Fallen tree hanging heavily on telephone wire, overhanging road

Reported via desktop in the Trees overhanging highways category anonymously at 21:51, Wednesday 29 March 2023

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4374707.

This has been hanging for weeks, there are road to be closed signs but don’t know what they’re for and that was supposed to be shut on the 28th this month, but nothing has happened yet. I’m very concerned as I feel the tree is pushing on telegraph wire so heavy it’s going to snap and fall on someone or something!

  • This is still very dangerous, and cannot believe, this could avoid an accident when the phone line does snap under the weight! Surely someone must be accountable for this?
