Pothole in the road

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4370076.

There is a pothole outside number 68 where the residents are both disabled so the the pothole is not only a hazard to drivers but also to the residents as it could cause them to fall or trip getting in or out their car, their only means of getting about.

  • Reference defect 4370076 I was informed 8 weeks ago that this pot hole would be fixed within 5 weeks, it hasn't, it is still a risk to the disabled residents who live with tis defect outside their house, it is a trip hazard for them as they are not steady on their feet, getting to their car as walking any distance isn't possible, when is this going to be fixed or are we to wait for an accident to get you to sort the problem.

  • This pot hole has now got bigger and deeper, how much longer do the residents have to avoid this potentially dangerous hole in the road, and how much longer do the disabled residents have to keep negotiating around this dangerous pothole. I have just spoken to a street operative in the area and he has told me this down for repair in 6 months, why then was i lied to by the council, if this isn't fixed promptly i will be bringing up with my councillor and the local press, and with holding my council tax until it is. Yesterday 11th July they fixed a pothole in Edinburgh Road, why didn't they come another 200 yards and repair the one in Cornwall road, shoddy service

  • Well you have surpassed yourselves, here you are today, 25th July, filling potholes not 100 yards away from the one you still haven't filled in Cornwall Road, these pot holes where only marked two weeks ago. This just shows what you think of the residents in the Town, especially disabled residents. I will be taking this further as your disrespect seems to know no bounds. or i will just do it myself and send you an over inflated bill
