Signs needed to alert drivers to the cycle path

On the road out of Sainsburys, turning left, to head west on the A316: there is a cycle lane, two-way, which drivers do not notice, and which cyclists heading east do not slow down. Have seen near misses as cyclists expect to ride across the front of cars, waiting to pull out, but the driver is looking to the right, at oncoming traffic. It needs signs to alert/warn, and make the cycle lane clear.
