Large and potentially dangerous

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4369385.

This pothole is on the Tesco side of the carriage way and is large enough to make vehicles swerve to avoid driving into it. No white lines around it to suggest it had been visited by HCC Highways. Other than being a tyre shredder the pothole this size will cause motorcyclists and bicyclists to have potentially serious accidents if driven into especially at night time.

  • The pothole was ‘repaired’ quite quickly but how good the repair is only time will tell. I suspect it will not last long!
