Uneven crossing

Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 13:41, Monday 27 March 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4364071.

On 20th March just after 12:20 I was crossing the High Street at the lights near The Partridge Pub (I was crossing going towards the Pub) when I sustained a fall. My ankle twisted on the uneven crossing and I tripped and fell, sprawled across the road. I visited the Beckenham Beacon the following morning as my left foot was swollen and I was unable to put any weight on it. Following a x-ray I was informed that I had sustained an aversion fracture which will take 4-6 weeks to heal. I am seeking compensation for the injury to my foot. I have a photo of the crossing which I will forward if needed.
