New trees in Eton Road planted poorly and already leaning over! Some of them are not secured properly.

The new trees in Eton Road are lovely but they have been planted poorly, are in very odd locations, and are already showing signs of leaning over. They need to be secured properly to their stakes. Older tree outside No. 76 has been leaning over for many years too and could be staked. Thank you.

We have reviewed the new trees and the locations are correct. We kindly ask all residents who are willing and interested to water trees in addition to our crews who water them throughout the year. Please take all required precautions if you chose to also water the trees--the extra water will ensure their best chances of survival and good growth.
Our aim is to establish a Forest of Street Trees through the LBB Treemendous Project over the next 5 years and we kindly appreciate all residents help to ensure every tree is established well and can grow to maturity.
