Deep potholes

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4356661.
A set of deep potholes further up the downhill carriageway just before the junction with Shortlands Grove. They appear to have been here for a while as they have been marked in red paint.

Bromley Council are aware of the issues at this location. This road has already been included in the Council's schedule of major highway maintenance works programme. In the interim the condition of the highway will continue to receive regular safety inspections and any necessary work undertaken accordingly, specific issues in the road should be reported with location details as new reports via https://fix.bromley.gov.uk for investigation.

Resident has called is as is concerned at the depth of the potholes and would like it to be fixed as soon as possible as they are very dangerously, they have been previously marked out but never repaired , They would like to see these repaired as soon as possible.

This pothole is absolutely massive. My car almost swirled off the road due to it and probably damaged my tyre. Please sort this out before someone has an accident. Thank you

Car behind me went down this yesterday and had to pull over shortly after, probably lost a tyre. Disgraceful this hasn't been sorted.

Thank you for your further comments regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. We will continue to work with our contractor to ensure that all outstanding jobs are addressed as quickly as they are able.
