  • This is one of the biggest potholes I’ve ever seen. I ride a motorbike and if I hit it I’m likely going to fall off. This is a possibility given foxes or children or dogs in the area so if I do hit it taking evasive action I will be suing the council. I’ve almost come off before on that roundabout because of the road surface quality. This isn’t acceptable anymore sort the problem out asap because this getting increasingly dangerous.

  • It’s Thursday and this set of potholes is the largest I’ve ever seen on a London street. Still not fixed last night when I walked by..

  • Please bear with us. Thee works are still outstanding with our Minor Works Contractor and will be completed soon.

  • This is just one of several big pot holes on the roundabout. Reported to the council several weeks ago, nothing done. Is Bromley Council waiting for a cyclist to die?

  • This is unacceptable. Nowhere within the highways maintenace industry would this not be considered a 24hr emergency call out. How can someone have assessed this and decided it is safe to leave as is for more than three weeks...

  • Thank you for your further comments regarding this issue. Bromley are aware of the significant volume of works raised and outstanding with our contractor and we are continuing to monitor and liaise with them over this outstanding schedule of works. Our Officers are not able to give precise timeframes to individual jobs at this moment but are continuing to undertake regular safety inspections and check any reported issues. We will continue to work with our contractor to ensure that all outstanding jobs are addressed as quickly as they are able.

  • Can you publish the result of the 'safety inspection' here please? The conclusion surely cannot be that this roundabout is 'safe'. Same goes for grand canyon sized pothole 2 mins away opposite St Christopher's Hospice.
