  • Please confirm what work was actually carried out as this problem has not been resolved and apart from the new tree shoots being removed nothing else has been done. The raised tarmac and pavement is a hazard and the roots are growing very close to our water meter. We are desperate to have a new wall built but are unable to do so until the problem is rectified. The offending tree and its roots unfortunately needs to be removed.

  • Thank you for the comment, the tree will not be removed and has been pruned to reduce its size. The roots will be pruned soon, a job has been raised by the highways department to lift the pavement and allow the roots affecting the wall to be pruned.

State changed to: No further action
