  • The works are still to be completed and during heavy rain the rubble currently filling around the drain is getting washed out.

Posted anonymously at 15:33, Tuesday 11 April 2023

  • Additionally, water is now not running away as the drain is higher than the road on one side of the drain.

  • A contractor has been today to remove the loose chippings and to complete the repair. The repair is now higher than the surrounding road preventing water from even reaching the drain. The drain itself has had a loft of the new product dropped down it too. The surrounding area was not swept and there is old stone and new product all around the area, all that could be collected and flicked around by passing traffic.
