Clearance of wildlife habitat and creation of car park

Reported via desktop in the Car parking category anonymously at 12:01, Mon 20 March 2023

Sent to Folkestone and Hythe District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4334771.

Developers of a plot adjacent to No 10 Range Road have completely destroyed the wildlife habitat and have installed a vehicle park on public land without planning permission either for the vehicle park or a dropped kerb. They are currently driving over the kerb and pavement causing further damage to that already done to the footpath.

Updates

  • It won't be fixed - the builders are putting in for retrospective planning permission, and then the public can object to the removal of the wildlife habitat!
